NEW WORK

"Bobcat sm""Bob and Weave"

8" h X 9" l X 4" w  Bronze

Edition 100

$990.00

Bobcats are beautiful creatures.  While relatively abundant in the wild, they are elusive and sightings are rare, but exciting.  They are solitary creatures and are scattered throughout North America.  They have adapted to man’s continuing intrusion better than many species.    This piece is finished in a natural translucent bronze which mimics the patterns of the bobcat’s beautiful coat.

"Mule Deer sm""In his Prime"

8" h X 11 l X 4" w  Bronze

Edition 100

$990.00

A male mule deer in his prime is a magnificent animal.  Deer are generally considered fragile animals, but there is nothing fragile about a huge buck mule deer. They inhabit the western US and are named for their large “mule like” ears.    This piece is finished in a beautiful bronze patina, which captures the colors of both the deer and its natural environment.  It is a rich looking translucent brown with black and cream highlights.

"Geronimo sm""Geronimo"

18" h X 10 l X 10" w  Bronze

Edition 25

$5,000.00

Geronimo is one of the most famous Native Americans.  His story is very interesting, and no matter how you feel about his savagery, one must respect his ability to survive and his fierce independence. Times were very different then than they are now.

Javelina"Bad Boy"

8h X 11" w X 4" l  Bronze

Edition 100

$1,260.00

Javelina is another name for the Collared Peccary, which is native to the southwestern United States and into South America.  They have a superficial resemblance to pigs, but are a distinct species.  Javelinas are social animals and often travel in herds and families.  They are wild, and cannot be domesticated. They have poor eyesight and generally ignore humans; unless provoked, then you had better be looking for a tall cactus to climb. This piece is finished in the vibrant and exciting colors of the American Southwest, which enhances the image of the “Bad Boy”

"The huge shapely body. . .Was set on legs that were strong as steel rods, and yet slender, clean, and smooth.  They were a beautiful dark brown color, contrasting well with they yellowish of the body.  The neck and throat were garnished with a mane of long hair and the symmetry of the great horns set off by the fine, and delicate lines of the noble head."
-Theodore Roosevelt
